Uncle Nick's Wedding

Liam attended his first wedding... Uncle Nick and Amy Liepert were married 4-24-10 . Liam was perfect despite the disruption to his nap and night sleep schedule, and being passed around at least 50 sets of adoring arms.

My first cereal

4 month check up

Liam is off the charts.... 27 inches long (technically 95th percentile, but he is a full inch longer than the 95%) and 17lbs 8 oz (again > 95%). He's wearing 6-9 month clothes has about 3 chin folds.

Drooling

Liam drooled so intensely on his own clothes (and dad's!) that we had to change him before bed.

Memory Lane

On Sunday we met up with old friends Nina and Rob, who just moved from LA back to Chicago (yay!) and strolled Northwestern's campus reminiscing about school days.

I can't get no satisfaction

Based on the amount of drooling and chewing taking place, we believe Liam is getting ready to cut his first tooth!

Jumperoo

Oh oh, more plastic. Really, this is the last thing. Liam is tentatively stretching his legs out to jump in this gizmo (his feet barely reach the ground), and enthusiastically embracing the lights and sounds that it makes.

Sitting

Liam is getting ready to sit up by himself. So far, he can stay up a few minutes when propped by pillows before toppling over. In his new Bumbo seat he can stay up indefinitely. (And mom's resolve against NO PLASTIC IN THE HOUSE is tested...)

Where has my hair gone?

Every morning we find Liam's bed sheets covered with fine baby hair. He's lost almost all of it now, so we must be nearing the time when he grows in some new hair again.

4 months old

Mom returns to work

After 4 months of dedicated baby bliss, I returned to corporate work this week (the work at home continues). Needless to say, I've fallen behind on taking photos, so here is one more reminder of our sunny vacation last week.

Ready to roll

Pacifier... check. Snuggly frog... check. Chewy giraffe... check. Liam is ready to roll.
